My Group's Idea For A Horror Trailer- FIND ME.

-Three friends (two girls, one boy) are walking their dog in the woods.

-One of the girls keeps a camera diary and decides to film their walk

-They throw a stick for the dog and the dog runs away. However, the dog does not return, but mysteriously the stick is thrown back.

-The boy takes the camcorder and goes in search for the lost dog.

-He drops the camcorder, however it carries on filming and you can hear what seems to be the boy being attacked. You never actually see the "killer" however, you just see the effects of it.

-The two girls discover the camcorder which was taken by their friend and they rewind it and see the footage. They are horrified by what they see, take the camcorder and try to get out of the forest.

-One of the girls get caught by the mystery attacker and tortured.

-The final girl is left to escape the killer by herself, filming her escape.


We decided to base our film trailer on films such as The Blair Witch Project and The Last Exorcism, because we thought that the handheld camera effect works well in making the trailer look more realistic and engaging the audience.
Also, the Blair Witch Project is a low budget film, so it is achievable.
